How to solve the problem of excessively high crusher oil temperature?
Five Factors and Solutions for Excessive Crusher Oil Temperature
Reason 1: Return Oil Pipe Blockage
Return oil pipe blockage can lead to poor lubrication oil circulation and reduced return oil volume. Normally, the return oil volume should reach more than half a pipe.
Solution: Clear the return oil pipe to ensure smooth lubrication oil circulation.
Reason 2: Lubricating Grease Failure
Generally, the lubricating oil should be replaced every 2000 hours of equipment operation. If this cycle is exceeded, the various indicators of the lubricating oil will significantly decrease, leading to more dust and impurities in the oil, resulting in decreased lubrication quality, indirect wear and tear on the internal parts of the equipment, and consequently causing excessive crusher temperature rise.

Reason 5: Unreasonable Operating Current Setting
The normal operating current of a crusher is generally 30-35A. If the current is too high, it will increase the load on the crusher, causing its temperature to rise excessively.
Solution: Adjust the gap appropriately according to the crusher load, control the material level above the distributor by 300 mm, and control the current between 30-35A.
Reason 3: Abnormal Blower Operation
The main function of the blower is to prevent dust and impurities from entering the lubricating oil and the inside of the crusher. If it operates abnormally, it will indirectly lead to excessive crusher temperature rise.
Solution: Regularly check the operation of the blower. Generally, when the blower is operating normally, the corresponding computer interface displays green; abnormal shutdown displays red. This can be used to determine whether the blower is operating normally for timely maintenance.
Reason 4: Insufficient Cooling Capacity
Crushers are generally air-cooled as standard. In actual use, the air cooling capacity is not ideal, especially in hot summers.
Solution: Regularly clean impurities from the cooling fins to ensure that the air cooler operates at maximum capacity. A water-cooled radiator can also be installed between the air cooler and the oil outlet pipe.
